Seamless Aluminium Gutter Specifications
General
Our seamless aluminium gutter systems are designed & manufactured to provide the essential architectural features to any building.
The systems is covered by a 20 year manufacturer guarantee, matched by Gutters4u for the same period on the installation.

Vast lengths of Ogee gutter can be created in 130mm/5" and 152.8mm/6" profiles .

Seamless gutter systems have minimal joins which are found on the corners or stop ends only, This results in a highly efficient rainwater system.

Aluminium coils
The aluminium coils used to create our seamless gutter systems are made from 300511 45 aluminium coil.
​
The elements interlock, snap or slide together with a wall thick ness of 0.7-0.9mm
​
Our aluminium coils are covered by BBA Standard no 93/2918
​
To create the gutter aluminium is extruded through machinery on board our company vehicles. This creates the ogee profile in your chosen RAL or BS colour.

It also allows us to create lengths bespoke to your property.
Compatibility
To prevent electro-chemical corrosion direct contact with copper or water run-off from copper or direct contact with lead in coastal environments should be avoided.
​
We ensure that compatible fixings are used during installation.
Bi-metal fasteners designed for fastening in aluminium sheeting and panels are used to fix the gutter via an internal hanger.

Powder Coating
Each coil is powder-coated on both sides and available in a selection of nine RAL or BS colours.
Coils are coated in either silicone modified polyester, high durability polyester or polyurethane polyamide ARS.

Durability
Seamless gutter systems have a low maintenance and long-life expectancy in excess of 30 years in rural and suburban conditions and in excess of 20 years in industrial and marine conditions.
​
Fire rating: Non-combustible to BS 476 part 4: 1970 (1984). Melting temperature for aluminium is 660 degrees Celsius.
​
Under testing conditions, the aluminium was found to perform well to artificial weathering, it will not fade, crack, chip, split, expand or constrict in changing temperatures.

Maintenance
Our seamless aluminium gutter system is as low maintenance as any could possibly be.
​
Any system will require unblocking on an annual basis. This can be minimised by opting for our mesh or aluminium leaf guards.
​
Keeping the gutters free from leaves, grass, moss and foreign objects will allow water to reach the pipes and expel efficiently.
​
Debris sitting in the roofline can create a dam effect and allow water to sit over the seals, thus degrading them faster than would be expected.
